As a people of God who seek to do his will, integrity is very important. What you say and should match up. There are many times unbelievers turn away from God because of our witness. What I mean is, the example we are showing them about what it means to be a child of God does not appeal to them because we lack integrity.
As believers we know we are not perfect and there are things that God is working on in us but as much as is up to us we need to walk in integrity.
Today’s word for the 30-day consistency challenge is integrity and I thought it would be good to compile a few verses that deal with integrity. So here are 5 best bible verses about integrity.
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. (Proverbs 11: 3)
Better the poor whose walk is blameless than the rich whose ways are perverse. (Proverbs 28:6)
Keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. (1 Peter 3:16)
For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man. (2 Cor. 8:21)
Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way. (Heb 13:8)
