The everyday stresses of life can cause anyone to feel weak at times. Are you going through a period of illness, have you lost a loved one, are you struggling financially? Whatever the situation making you weak, God’s strength is available to you. We can draw strength from him when we are weak.
The Bible says,
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40: 29-30)
We don’t have to rely on our strength we can depend on God’s strength.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power (Ephesians 6:10)
When we need strength we can call on the name of the Lord because,
The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10).
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day (2 cor 4:16)
And there is a verse we can always pray when we need God’s strength. It is an excellent reminder of how we can function when we do not feel strong.
