I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3:14)
God will not give you more than you can manage at any given moment. He knows you can handle the difficult situation you are in now. He is allowing you to go through it because there is a lesson for you to learn. Life is filled with lessons as we become more and more like Christ.
We have the choice of learning the lesson quickly so we can move on or remain in the same position and take the lesson over and over. The best thing to do is, understand the lesson the situation is teaching you, learn it so you can move on. God uses every situation as a stepping stone for your future benefit.
Always remember why you started your journey to keep yourself on track. It is when you take your eyes off this that you get knocked off course. Anytime the distractions come, recall your why and that will keep you grounded. In the busyness of each day, it is easy to grow weary of the things we work at daily.
Surround yourself with people who will keep you accountable when you want to get off track. We all need people who will remind us gently, or not so gently when we need it, of our ultimate goals. When we want to give up they keep us in check.
Your frustrations are a part of the process of becoming, so don’t be too hard on your self. Just remember it is only a part of the process, it is not the entire journey. Your season will change.
